Overview We are the leading educator of students in the creative and applied arts, including design, media, fashion, and culinary arts. Our Design program includes tracks in Advertising, Computer-Aided Drafting & Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, and Interior Design. Through the Media Arts program you can choose to study Audio Production, Broadcasting, Digital Media Production, Game Art & Design, Interactive Media Design, Media Arts & Animation, Multimedia & Web Design, Photography, Video Production, Visual & Game Programming, or Visual Effects & Motion Graphics. In our Fashion program you can choose to focus on Fashion Design, Fashion Marketing, or Visual Merchandising. The Culinary program at The Art Institutes includes study in Culinary Arts and Culinary Management. There are 34 Art Institutes located in major cities across North America that award master's degrees, bachelor's degrees, associate's degrees, and non-degree programs.

Our curriculum at The Art Institutes is carefully scrutinized and developed by industry leaders and prominent employers who tell us what skills are needed in the workplace. This means that your education is relevant, practical, and hands-on. In fact, the classroom often mimics what you'll find on the job. Deadlines, pitching ideas in front of the class, and working in teams helps you flex those creative muscles. Many of our faculty are also working outside of the classroom so you'll learn what's happening out there...in here.

In the Design program, you will build a strong portfolio which will become your all-consuming passion as you're preparing to graduate. Potential employers will want to see what you can do. You'll be ready. The Media Arts programs have a strong design and drawing component in their curriculum. In all of our programs, technology and media help you to realize your vision. Fashion designers, marketers, and merchandisers are the creators of everyday art as we wrap ourselves in their vision. Remember that the fashion industry is more than creativity and passion — it's also extrememly competitive. That's why our Fashion programs focus on the creative and busines aspects of this fast-paced industry. Students in the Culinary program learn and work in professional kitchens and gain work experience by participating in internships, externships, or by working at onsite, school restaurants.
