HealthTronics, Inc. is proud to announce the acquisition of Endocare, a medical device manufacturer of proprietary cryoablation technologies for treating cancerous tissue and tumors. Cryoablation is a minimally invasive treatment that uses extreme cold to freeze and destroy diseased tissue, including cancer cells.
Adding cryotherapy to our product offerings will complement our TotalRad™ IGRT offering by providing another avenue for urologists to choose when treating patients with cancer. It also opens the door for us to expand our markets outside of urology allowing for even greater growth opportunities.
