In-demand Training Programs: Customer Service Representatives

To identify which certifications will set job seekers up best for high-hiring fields, we check millions of job postings to tally the frequencies of more than 5,000 different certifications and trainings. Next, we picked five career paths that seemed to have a good hiring rate after training for less than 52 weeks, including certified nursing assistants, licensed practical nurses, medical coding/billing, customer service representatives, and web designers.

Customer service includes, among others, help desk and support center personnel. Many of these formerly entry level jobs have been "professionalized," and now require training in technical and soft skills of communication, problem solving, analytical skills, and process management.
