Computer Simulation Training Instructor

Description:
Security Clearance: Secret

Extensive experience with the U.S. Army Mission Command Systems. Shall be a certified instructor and have demonstrated experience instructing individual digital classes of small groups of up to 25 personnel. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Must have experience in the following areas:

1. Knowledge of Mission Command procedures at the battalion or above level.
2. Professional experience in the organization, planning, and development of training courses.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
4. The ability to conceive, plan, and execute training concepts and conduct training courses prescribed by DoD regulations, standards and procedures.
5. Experience in task analysis and course development.


Plans, develops, coordinates and provides a program of instruction for the Army Mission Command Systems (AMCS) suite of equipment and software. An understanding of the AMCS is required. Primary duties include execution of the development of a Program of Instruction that results in lesson plans IAW with Army Regulations based on a detailed front-end training needs analysis. Training packages developed will address new operator, sustainment, and leader training. Upon completion of training development, will execute training sessions and develop the criteria for successful completion by trained personnel. Primary duties include execution of the development of a Program of Instruction for Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB2) Blue Force Tracker (BFT), Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB2) Joint Capabilities Release (JCR), Tactical Ground Reporting (TIGR), Tactical Battle Command (TBC) / Command Post of the Future (COPF), and Biometric Automated Toolset and Handheld Interagency Identity Detection Equipment (BAT/HIIDE). Continuously revises lesson plans to meet training requirements and keep courses abreast of emerging technology. Instructor duties will include preparation of training materials, determination of methodology, and coordination in the development and use of training aids. Evaluates training materials and procedures and makes or recommends revisions to keep the course abreast of software, hardware and emerging doctrine. Secondary duties to include perform the duties of an operator for the Joint Conflict and Tactical Simulation (JCATS) and/or WARSIM, and Virtual Battle Simulation System (VBS2) simulations during all training events. Maintains class records, writes, administers and scores tests for certification when required.

Qualifications:
Familiarity and experience with the Joint Conflict and Tactical Simulation (JCATS) and/or WARSIM, and Virtual Battle Simulation System (VBS2) simulation is a plus. Demonstrated experience in Army Gaming tools.
