Bethesda Lutheran Communities is dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through services that share the good news of Jesus Christ, and seeks to hire Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Fremont, CA.

We seek someone who will demonstrate professionalism and high standards of integrity while working in a home-setting work environment.  We want someone who views his/her work day with those supported by the company and co-workers as an opportunity to be a positive influence.  A DSP is someone who will personally contribute encouragement, guidance and genuine concern for a person's daily accomplishments.  A DSP promotes the health, safety and emotional support of the individuals we serve and is willing to support people to achieve the highest quality of life possible.

Currently, we have part-time positions available with advancement opportunities and competitive pay.

We train and certify for medication administration. We conduct on-the-job trainings and coordinate with vendors for additional employee training. We also pay referral bonuses for recruiting top quality employees. 
 


Job Requirements 

Applicants must be 18 years old or older, be eligible to work in the United States, have a valid drivers license and be able to pass a criminal background check.

Applicants must be able to speak both Spanish and English--this position will work with someone for whom Spanish is their primary language.

Prior experience is preferred, as is CPR/1st aid certification.
