Job Description

Position Focus

  • Responsible for daily and long term operations of the Emergency Department. The ED has approximately 30,000 annual visits.
  • Oversight of department personnel in the areas of staffing, training, scheduling, education and professional development.
  • Other responsibilities will include budgeting, regulatory compliance and QI/QA.
  • This position reports to the VP of Patient Care Services and oversees approximately 40 FTE’s.

                                                                                                    

Organization & Community

  • A 150 bed hospital in the Charlotte, NC area.
  • This is a lovely location for quality living, culture and great golfing.
 


Job Requirements 

Requirements

  • An ADN is required.
  • A BSN and Master's preferred.
  • At least two years of nursing leadership experience within Hospital Emergency Services.
  • Related certification is preferred.
  • The hospital seeks a dynamic leader who is a team player and self-starter.
