Job Description
PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR Orthopedic and Stroke (#23839) TriHealth Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, OH PT, days This position will be a direct report to the Administrator of Musculoskeletal and Rehabilitation Services with an indirect reporting relationship to SCOE's Medical Coordinator. While this position main focus will be in regards to the Stroke Center of Excellence, they will have generalized involvement with all stroke services, physicians, nurses, and therapy. This position needs advanced skills in communicating with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff. Position will: *demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills in applying a detailed knowledge of the responsibilities, functions, and underlying management structure of the SCOE in organizing and prioritizing work, establishing prSCOEdures and systems and ensuring the timely flow through of the program *Coordinate and administer human resource functions and participates in budget review and financial prSCOEsses *acts for and regularly makes decisions in the program director's absence within prescribed limits of authority *ensures that the clinical management of the department, including oversight related to case management, quality improvement, care planning, clinical utilization, and patient identification is overseen *educates patients diagnosed with stroke conditions to better understand and manage their conditions *uses discharge planning skills to promote independence, maximize function and return patients to their homes TriHealth is a unified health care system where physicians, hospitals and communities work together to help you live better. Job Requirements
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree Allied Health; Board certified APN; Other Registered Nurse EXPERIENCE: 2-3 years Clinical Allied Health SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Nursing or Therapy Background; strong presentation and public speaking skills; ability to interface/interact with all levels in a health care organization; analytical skills; attention to detail and organization; strong verbal and written skills DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC: Experience with clinical or disease specific education would be a benefit.; the ability and desire to do research and document searches to develop "best practice" patient centered care models for stroke to make the SCOE the leader in the region is a must Visit www.TriHealth where you can apply online to job #23839.
