CapTech was formed as the result of a friendship between the company's founders—Sandy Williamson and Slaughter Fitz-Hugh—that began while both were employed at Andersen Consulting in Washington, D.C. Job Responsibilities

Additional requirements for the IT .NET Developer include:

• High school degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• ASP.NET certification for 4.0 a plus
• Minimum 3 years .NET and Microsoft development experience
• Experience with C#, VB.NET, T-SQL, ASP.NET and/or ADO.NET
• Adaptable technical and multi-tasking abilities
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
• Ability to travel to client locations as needed
• Experience with BizTalk, SharePoint, SQL Server, Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), Silverlight and/or UML preferred
• Familiarity with jQuery, ASP.NET MVC, NHibernate and/or Entity Framework preferred
• Familiarity with dependency injection, DI, IOC, service-oriented architectures and/or agile methodologies preferred
