Job Description 

Careline Services is hiring an Operating Room Technologist full time contract assignment in Newark, NJ or in other hospitals in various parts of New Jersey.  

Job Description
  • Responsible for preparing the operating room by setting up the equipment and sterilizing tools that are necessary for the operation. 
  • Responsible for making sure all equipment is working properly which may involve the assembly of some materials. 
  • Prepare the patient for surgery by washing, shaving and disinfecting areas for operation. 
  • Transport patient, observe vital signs, check charts and assist the surgical team in dressing for the surgery.

Job Requirements 

Qualified OR Nurses must have the following.

  • Strong Ortho and Neuro Spine experience in addition to general,  GYN, cardio vascular, laparoscopic
  • Adult and pediatric experience 
  • At least 5 years current experience in acute care setting
  • BLS - Basic Life Support
  • Current certification
  • Current annual physical
  • PPD
  • Titers
  • Drug screen
  • N95 Mask fit test
