Job Description 


We are seeking a Registered Nurse to work in an Emergency Room for one of our valued clients.  Careline Services is a healthcare staffing service provider that provides hightly competent and qualified healthcare professionals to the leading medical facilities in New York and New Jersey. The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care for assigned patients in the emergency room.

Job Responsibilities/Description

As an Emergency Room RN you will be responsible for triaging each patient and determining priority of patient care based on physical, psychological and social needs as well as factors influencing patient flow through the emergency care system. In this position,  the RN reports to the head of the unit but will have a wide degree of latitude and creativity.

Additional responsibilities for the Registered Nurse include:
  • Performing focuses assessment of chief complaints of each patient in a timely manner according to established traige guidelines.
  • Being familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures for  patient care.
  • Relying on experience and judgement to plan and accomplishment goals.
  • Performing a variety of tasks based on patient care needs.

 


Job Requirements 

As an Emergency Room RN you should have 2 years of current experience working in an emergency room as well as your NJ Registered Nurse License.  For this nursing position, you must be able to work in a fast paced environment, multi-task and have excellent communication skills.
