We also believe in supporting local school districts, sharing in the quest to educate our youth. Academics, booster clubs, athletics, and scholarships are just a few of projects we support in the Birdville ISD, Keller ISD, Grapevine/Colleyville ISD, HEB ISD, numerous private schools and Tarrant County College. The Staff here at North Hills Hospital also give back to the community in unique ways. Each year our employees collect bicycles (200+ in 2004) to give to needy children on Christmas morning through the Community Enrichment Center (CEC), as well as hold quarterly food drives to stock the CEC's food pantry. North Hills Hospital employees also put together teams of walkers and runners who raise money for local charities and participate in special events. Through food and household good drives, we have supported victims of natural disasters around the world, including the tsunami and Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. We deliver uncompensated and charity care, and we provide jobs for over 750 people who volunteer hundreds of hours to local community groups.
