  • 24-Hour Emergency Room
  • Emergency Services at PRMC are considered to be the finest in care and expertise in our region. We provide today's modern equipment, experienced support staff and knowledgeable, caring physicians.
  • Trauma Services are offered at PRMC 24-hours a day, every day of the year. Our 10-bed Emergency Department is equipped to handle most types of serious illnesses, accidents or family emergencies. We are also base to an air ambulance service, available any time.
  • Medical Services General medical services provided by PRMC include cardiology, pulmonology, gastroenterology. Our Medical/Surgical unit has the ability to provide care for eight telemetry patients andalso provides care for the general pediatric population.
  • Intensive Care Services PRMC's highly trained staff provide specialized care for critical cardiac, medical and surgical patients in our 7-bed unit.
  • Surgical Services At PRMC, we are proud of our team of talented surgeons and support staff.     PRMC operates the only hospital-based home health agency in Rim Country, providing a wide range of home nursing and therapy services.

    Our caring staff is dedicated to providing quality rehabilitation services including physical therapy, speech/language therapy, and occupational therapy, tailored to your needs.

    Diagnostic Imaging services include fluoroscopy, spiral CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, angiography, mammography, and stereotactic breast biopsy. Vascular diagnostic studies, which provide advanced technology in diagnosing problems of thecirculatory system, are also provided.

    Cardiopulmonary Services provide a fully equipped Sleep Study Center and Respiratory Services. Sleep Studies offered at PRMC specialize in diagnosing and treating sleep disorders such as insomnia, sleep apnea, snoring, narcolepsy and Restless Leg Syndrome.

    Staffed by qualified nurses who are committed to delivering a continuum of care that includes personalized service from beginning to end. In 2003 we began fetal fibrinectin testing to assess the preterm labor patient to determine the risk of delivery before 37 weeks. The Family Birthing Center is designed to meet any emergency obstetrical problem. A "Family-Centered" approach starts with educational classes at 12-29 weeks, labor and delivery from 30-39 weeks of pregnancy and ends with postpartum and newborn care. Classes are scheduled throughout the year with convenient times for participants. Parents and family members continue to receive education during their hospital stay. In 2004 the Birthing Center delivered 189 infants. Our staff and highly qualified physicians are providing a level of care that encourages more mothers to deliver their babies at PRMC.
