Occupational Medicine
U.S. HealthWorks is a full service occupational health provider that offers employers an approach to the specialty of occupational health care that includes preventive services, pre-placement and post-offer services, injury and illness diagnosis and treatment, physical therapy and return–to-work programs.
Physical Therapy / Rehabilitation
At U.S. HealthWorks, Physical Therapy is a vital element in occupational medicine. Since treating work-related injuries and providing physical therapy often go hand in hand, we believe that therapists and physicians working together in the same office is the best approach to managing a patient’s medical treatment and disability management. From injury care to modified duty programs, our approach delivers better care and reduced cost of treatment.
Worksite Occupational Medicine
U.S. HealthWorks understands that for many employers, a solution to cost-effective health care means providing medical and wellness services at the company’s worksite.
Specialty Care
Specialty Care Services is a designation given to those U.S. HealthWorks medical centers that offer state-of-the-art patient care by specialists in the treatment of hand and upper extremity disorders, plastic surgery, orthopedics, spinal disorders, neurology, electrodiagnostic testing, physiatry and anesthesiology.
Urgent Care
Many U.S. HealthWorks centers offer Urgent Care Services in addition to Occupational Medicine. We know that not all minor emergencies and illnesses require hospital care and that there are times when your family physician is not available. Our facilities offer expert medical care, great customer service, and convenience to the communities that we serve. The facilities are typically open with extended hours and are less expensive than the emergency room of your local hospital.
Medical Surveillance Management
U.S. HealthWorks partners with employer health & safety and human resource departments to coordinate Hazmat/Hazwoper, Asbestos, Respiratory Protection, and other types of OSHA required surveillance exams. These coordinated exams are available nationwide with unified billing, monitoring, and reporting of results to reduce the cost and heavy workload placed upon various corporate departments. This service greatly reduces employers having to in-house administer similar programs that are likely fragmented into multiple sources making them difficult to track for OSHA compliance.
