SENIOR DEMAND PLANNER: TEMP TO HIRE
Currently working with a client who is hiring a Senior Demand Planner

The main objective for this position is to work closely through cross-functional interactions, historical data analysis, retails sales, and inventory information from customers and statistical projections and develop the most accurate and up-to-date demand plan.  This person will be responsible to work with multiple business line to plan and implement .

• Create and maintain a statistical 12-month rolling baseline forecast: (gather, analyze, and validate data) 
• Execute statistical modeling software
  • Review resulting statistical forecast model
  • Apply error analysis techniques to improve forecasting
  • Summarize/aggregate statistical forecasts

• Revise forecasts and recommend changes on a periodic basis based on actual usage, trends, wins/losses, new product introductions, and revised sales plans.

• Facilitate development of sales forecasts for new product launches, expansions, and matured products through collaboration between Sales, Brands, and Product Lines.

• Work with Sales and Brand teams to ensure that all promotions and new initiatives are captured in the demand plan and recommend overrides based upon data analysis and market information where appropriate. Report out on actual promotional lift on a monthly.

• Develop and execute on collaborative demand forecasting with Key customers.

• Participate and contribute in designing key customer collaborations processes.

• Review updated sales plans identifying historical sales trends and demand drivers.

• Develop statistical forecast models and evaluate forecast results:
  • Present, solicit, and assess feedback on the various forecasts from sales, and finance
  • Recommend enrichments to the demand forecast
