LPN (PT)
Assists Physician or Registered Nurse in treating accidents or illness. Performs first aid treatment as required. Treats minor injuries and illnesses under Physician or Registered Nurse's instruction. Prepares and administers medications in compliance with guidelines. May assist in conducting cursory and complete medical examinations for new students. May assist in bedside patient care. Maintains clean and orderly Health Services facility. Maintains medical records in an accurate and timely manner. Monitors student performance relative to the Job Corps Career Success Standards (Workplace Relationships and Ethics; Communications; Personal Growth and Development; Interpersonal Skills; Information Management; Multicultural Awareness; Career and Personal Planning; Independent Living) via established programs, procedures and activities. Mentors students on the Job Corps Career Success Standards (Workplace relationships and Ethics; Communications; Personal Growth and Development; Interpersonal Skills; Information Management; Multicultural Awareness; Career and Personal Planning; Independent Living) through formal and informal programs and activities. Monitors student performance relative to the Job Corps Career Success Standards (Workplace Relationships and Ethics; Communications; Personal Growth and Development; Interpersonal Skills; Information Management; Multicultural Awareness; Career and Personal Planning; Independent Living) via established programs, procedures and activities. Performs other duties as assigned. .
Graduation from an accredited L.P.N. program and licensed to provide nursing services by the state. Prefer 1 year of health care experience
