 Description AppSales/Service
  • Expand and retain customer base through in-depth knowledge of retail services, products, and selling techniques
  • Establish rapport with the customers through techniques such as identifying customers by name, greeting customers with a smile, handshake, introduction, and thanking the customer for their business.
  • Introduce prospective and current customers to products and services through in-store prospecting, PA announcements, etc.
  • Recognize selling opportunities and effectively cross-sell bank products and services
  • Possess knowledge of competitor bank products and services
  • Follow up on sales opportunities /prospects/referrals using retail banking techniques
  • Listen effectively and understand non-verbal communication skills
  • Provide superior customer service
  • Acknowledge/prioritize multiple customer demands to provide a maximum customer service experience to all customers

Operations

  • Demonstrate exceptional telephone skills and satisfactorily handle all telephone inquiries
  • Possess knowledge of competitive products, practices, and facilities in order to effectively sell bank products/services
  • Process all financial transactions in an accurate and timely manner
  • Responsible for opening and maintaining customer bank products such as; checking, savings, certificates of deposit, loans, etc.
  • Review/evaluate loan applications and consumer credit reports
  • Maintain audit and security standards
  • Adhere to bank policies and procedures
  • Participate in 2-2-2(follow up) phone call and birthday call initiatives
 RequirementsApplicants must have previous sales experience, meeting sales goals, quotas or up-selling of products or services.  Computer, communication and interpersonal skills a must with exceptional customer service skills.  Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and with a team.  Previous banking or college hours helpful, but not required.
