 Description This position is responsible for supervising the revenue team, and requires previous experience in oil and gas, both managing and handling: booking sales entries and processing the sales through the revenue system, distribution to owners and tax systems, processing related gas balancing entries, reporting and paying state and federal taxes and royalties; analyzing cash receipts; analyzing, reconciling, and collecting accounts receivable; editing and proofing system input; understanding divisions of interest and interest types; preparing general ledger entries (in accordance with GAAP), and assisting with necessary functions related to state incentive tax reporting, filings and refunds. WE WILL CONSIDER OUT OF TOWN CANDIDATES. 
 Requirements

 

Education:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 

Experience:

 

6+ years experience in an oil & gas revenue accounting position, including at least 2 years supervisory experience.
