Our client, a leading distribution company nationwide, is currently seeking a Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist. This person would be responsible for analyzing injury reports and workers' compensation claims, monitoring, assisting, evaluating and reporting on claims being handled by their TPA.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of Virginia based Workers' Compensation claims handling experience required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Fundamental knowledge of the insurance industry, claims, and the insurance legal and regulatory environment
  • Possesses a functional and developing knowledge of the legal statutes and procedures
  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
  • Effective analytical and interpretive skills
  • Strong organizational skills, good interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment
