Nursing Supervisor
RN Unit Manager 7:00a.m. - 3:00p.m.
The primary purpose of your job position is to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during your tour of duty. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the DON, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Also to conduct and coordinate the development and completion of the resident assessment in accordance with the requirements of this state and the policies and goals of this facility.
Must have current RN License in the State of NJ
and
2 years of experience in Sub Acute or Long Term Care w/ MDS experience
Must have good assessment skills
Must have Good leadership and organization skills
Must be CPR & IV certified
Must have knowledge of Medicare & Medicaid
Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in NJ.
Must have a least 2 years experience with MDS.
Must have knowledge of PRI's, Care Planning, RUGS III and computer literate.
Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities, etc.
Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served
Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of team work and team concept.
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.
Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc., that are necessary for providing quality care.
Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition.
Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulation, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.
Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc., that are necessary for implementing and conducting the facility's nursing assistant training program.
