Offset Press Operator
Job Description

This position is responsible for start up of machines as necessary.  Stocking station and issue stock as needed in other facilities.  Perform adjustments, filling ink mill, inks press making roller adjustments.  Performs ink readings throughtout the shift  Runs plates thru plate wetter, hanging plate on press.  Printing runs, checks quality of work, performs shut down at the end of shift.  Removes water bottle and roller guard, cleaning ink fountain and rollers, blowing out press and replacing roller guards, wipes down blanket, refilling and replacing of water bottle, cleans work station and press.  Works closely with other departments to include the Bindery, Quality and Pre-press Departments as well as other members of the leadership team.

Will also be responsible for performing preventive maintenance.

Performs other job duties as assigned.

Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.

MUST have previous offset printing experience
