Job Description 

LICENSED CERTIFIED ALCOHOL AND DRUG COUNSELOR / LCADC

LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER / LCSW

 

 

General Healthcare Resources, an established leader in the professional healthcare staffing industry, has an IMMEDIATE need for  LICENSED CERTIFIED ALCOHOL AND DRUG COUNSELORS and LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKERS in Mercer County, New Jersey.

We are looking for clinicians who are seasoned clinically and have experience with children and adolescents, including the NJ Children system of care.  Appropriate candidates MUST possess the following skills:

 

Multi Tasker- Must be able to speak and type at the same time.

Technologically savey.

Ability to handle working in a fast paced system.

Be able to work in a structured environment.

Determine level of care & make independent decisions.

Care coordinators will be responsible for understanding the New Jersy Children’s System of Care and assisting families, legal guardians and providers with assessment for and access to appropriate services.

In addition, the Care Coordinator reviews and authorizes treatment and transition plans to ensure that appropriate utilization of service delivery occurs and children/youth and young adults continue to be connected to appropriate services. Care Coordinators must make sure that the treatment meets the youth’s needs in the least restrictive, least intrusive manner possible.

You should have a minimum of three years post-graduate clinical experience or equivalent combination of education and clinically related work experience.  We prefer the LCADC or LCSW has previous experience in the field of addictions, developmental disabilities, managed care environment or Children’s System of Care.

The schedule is Monday through Friday,  2:00 PM to 10:30 PM with one weekend shift per month.

Job Requirements

LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER / LCSW
 


* Current New Jersey LCADC or LSCW certification.
* Minimum of three years post-graduate clinical experience.

* LCADC or LCSW preferred.
* Previous experience in the field of addictions.
* A Physical Exam and PPD or Chest X-ray within the last year.

* Three professional references.

* Must pass a company-paid criminal background check and drug screening.
* Copy of all applicable professional certifications.
