Job Description

Occupational Therapist opportunity in Burlington,  North Carolina!

Opportunity for Occupational Therapist to join LifeWorks Rehab in providing comprehensive, progressive inpatient rehabilitation service to patients who have had joint replacement or other surgery, experienced a stroke, or been injured in an accident.  As one of our skilled professionals, you will work with the patient, the patient’s family and the physician to develop a complete, individualized recovery plan.  You will then follow the plan to help motivate patients to gain the skills needed to return home and enjoy life again.

As a LifeWorks Rehab therapist, you will evaluate residents, develop effective treatment plans and record treatment and charges, obtain approval for service from the referring physician and treat residents according to the physician’s treatment plan, screen residents for potential benefit of OT intervention, and participate in discharge planning.  You will also supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and aides.

Alamance  Healhcare Center is a 180-bed post acute care facility located in Burlington, North Carolina. This beautiful facility meets the needs of both long term and short term patients, but is known as a rehab center in the community due to its high post-acute census and high rate of patients returning to home. Small enough to be friendly, but busy with a high rehab census, this facility offers associates a fast-paced and interesting case load

LifeWorks Rehab
is the rehabilitation therapy sector of Medical Facilities of America.  This is a comprehensive, progressive inpatient rehabilitation service for patients who have had joint replacement or other surgery, experienced a stroke, or been injured in an accident.  Our skilled professionals work with the patient, the patient’s family and the physician to develop a complete, individualized recovery plan.  Our highly skilled staff members follow the plan to help motivate patients to gain the skills needed to return home and enjoy life again.
