Job Description 

 

To ensure that all Goods and Services for our Customer are effectively and efficiently procured in a manner which meets all legal, ethical, and our Customer Sourcing process guidelines.

The role has to:

Develop negotiation strategies coordinated and aligned with Group tasks

Assist suppliers in developing offerings to create a competitive environment to accommodate the needs of our Customer

Establish and maintain relationships with Business Units and suppliers to aid in determining the most appropriate and cost efficient solutions based on business needs. 

Reports to the Manager IT/Services Procurement Team

Assure process consistency with group requirements

Evaluation of bids, selection of vendor and the negotiation of terms and pricing

Analyze supply base and competition with reference to price, capacity, and quality as well as monitor the integration of current and potential suppliers establishing a sound supplier base

Develops and implements new strategies and tools to increase efficiency within the Procurement Department

Review Purchase Authorization and backup and review all purchase orders along with the Internal Audit Policy for Purchasing


 


 


Job Requirements 

SAP knowledge

Proficiency in MS-Word, PowerPoint, MS-Outlook and Excel

Strong proven negotiation skills

Organizational skills

Ability to communicate and interact effectively at all levels within the organization and with outside vendors / suppliers

Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills

Adherence to corporate guidelines, procedures and policies

Persuasive and persistent

Ability to work effectively as a member of a team

Self motivated with ability to work independently

Indirect Purchasing experience particularly with IT hardware, software, & Services

Able to clearly describe sourcing processes they have run from start to finish. 

German / Spanish language capability

Timely completion of sourcing processes

Timely implementation of new strategies

Experience in handling multi million dollar projects from a Procurement prospective

Proven Leadership skills

Multi-national experience

Experience sourcing overseas.

Comfortable communicating with people when English is not their primary language
