Job Description 


Careline Services, a healthcare staffing service provider, is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Surgical/Telemetry environment. We are committed to providing highly competent and qualified healthcare professionals to the leading medical facilities in New York and New Jersey. The RN completes assignments made by physicians, provides routine treatment and post-surgical care such as wound care.
 

Job description

As a Registered Nurse,  you will be responsible for assessing changes in patient's health status and performing various treatments.

Additional responsibilities for the Registered Nurse:

  • Administering medications and all other routine aspects of patient care.
  • Maintaining a higher patient caseload than intensive care or pediatric nurses.
  • Documenting daily care such as vital signs, changes in status, continence issues, diets and even visitors in the patient's charts. 
  • Keeping meticulous records as to medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other treatment team members.

Job Requirements 

Qualified Med Surg Tele RNs must have the following:
  • 2 years experience
  • Basic Life Support
  • Current NJ license
  • Current annual physical
  • PPD
