Sales Incentive Analyst II

Job Description


Responsibilities: Be responsible for assisting in the design, implementation and administration of the sales incentive and producer bonus programs to ensure consistency with respect to the plan goals. This entails plan design, documentation, administration, related goal setting progresses, tracking and communications to plan participants and trend analysis. Create and manage the accrual and forecasting process with Budget and Finance departments. This position works closely with all stakeholders involved in the sales incentives and producer bonus including Plan Presidents, Vice Presidents, and Director of Sales and Underwriting as well as key IT, Finance, and Payroll staff. Be responsible for analyzing sales and retention results for Cambia Health Solutions specifically centered on the Sales Division's performance. Constantly engage in analysis activities to report on sales metrics to sales management and to collaborate with other divisions to verify enrollment and sales finds.

Functions:
  • Assist in the development, implementation, reporting, communication, and validation of the sales incentive plans and payments to include producer bonus plans and payments

  • Leads the administration of monthly payments for sales incentive and producer bonus payments

  • Responsible for the integrity of all sales data used for sales incentive and producer bonus payments

  • Responsible for the creation of plan documents

  • Assist in the training to sales ops and sales staff on Sales Performance Management tool

  • Ensure all communication and collateral documents are up to date

  • Responsible for developing models and reports, analysis, special projects, and presentations

  • Create, evaluate, and present modeling and forecasting reports

  • Serve as a resource for the organization in incentive plan policy and provide support for managers and supervisors in incentive related human resources issues

  • Recommend sales compensation policy, practices, and programs

Job Requirements

Minimum Job Qualifications and Technical Competencies:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, related field or equivalent education and experience

  • At least three years of work experience in compensation or sales incentive and work experience in statistical analytic disciplines such as sales metrics to include close ratio reporting, sales rep production, sales rep book of business, and new business activity quote tracking or the equivalent combination of education an experience

  • Human Resource Certification is preferred (CCP, PHR, and SPHR)

  • Demonstrated ability to prepare models to report sales performance

  • Close Ratios, Sales Rep production, Account Retention, Sales Rep and broker 'book of business', and Sales Forecast reporting

  • Ability to think analytically; apply analytical techniques, and provide in-depth analysis and recommendations to Sales Management using critical thinking and sound judgment

  • Ability to think strategically about plan design and desired incentive plan outcomes and behaviors

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with all levels of the work force

  • Extensive experience working with complex PC software and systems

  • Ability to participate and/or lead in a team atmosphere to achieve department goals and objectives consistent with corporate vision and strategies

  • The ability to thrive in a fast paced environment

  • Demonstrated ability to retrieve complex data sets from internal systems to support on-going sales analysis activities

  • Demonstrated proficiency with data access tools such as MS Excel, MS Access, SAS, SQL, etc.

  • Experience in report writing with graphic and statistical elements

  • Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
