Test Engineer (Job ID: 155709)

Description

Overview:
Plan and execute bench and vehicle testing according to specific customer needs and according to internal Continental standards. Report and discuss results with internal team and customer and work together with the global engineering team on problem solution.

Core Responsibilities:
- Bench and vehicle testing of automotive brake systems
- Test and develop components to requirements
- Ensure input & output is within prescribed interface guidelines (data, test reports)
- Interface with customer
- Coordinate build and maintenance of test equipment (rigs, vehicles)
- Interface with interdepartmental personnel in resolution of issues from above

Required Qualifications:
-Bachelor Degree in an Engineering Discipline
-Minimum 2 years of experience in Automotive product
-Successful demonstration of items as presented above

Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience with brake calipers or drum brakes
-Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
-Basic knowledge of Ford specifications
