Network Administrator who is willing to work the Service Desk (98% of the job is working from the office supporting customers over the phone)
We have an immediate full time opening for a Network Administrator.
Although the title is Network Administrator the role is working on the service desk supporting IT managers and End users.
Network Administrators are responsible for supporting multiple clients both remotely and on-site, in addition to working internally with cross functional support teams.
The Network Administrator will manage small to large scale local and wide area network technology used by our clients by applying state of the art managed services program standards.
• This position requires excellent communication and consultative skills in addition to strong technical skills.
• Our Network Administrators are required to work independently with clients to identify and resolve network failures and technical issues.
• This position requires a vast technical background and understanding of sound business principles and practices.
• These skills are required to recognize opportunities, and implement them within our broad customer base.
• The position requires a strong business intuition, excellent verbal and written skills, and the ability to professionally present ideas to all levels of the corporate structure.
Requirements:
•Visit client sites in the Philadelphia Region to perform proactive and reactive network support services
•Consult with clients on technology best practices and solutions to business technology problems
•Meet with clients to discuss business technology needs and available options and solutions
•Technical documentation of existing system configurations
•Help customers keep technology in alignment with business objectives
